Theme: Post-BEPS 2.0 Era: Ways for Hong Kong to Excel Under the New Normal and After the Pandemic
As the international community is getting closer to reach a consensus on the global tax reform under the BEPS 2.0 project, the implementation of BEPS 2.0 will bring significant changes to the international tax landscape. On the other hand, the COVID-19 pandemic has fundamentally changed the way of conducting business and the mode of operation of many companies plus the working patterns of employees. Under this new normal, the 2021 Hong Kong Chartered Tax Adviser Conference (“HKCTA Conference”) is going to cover topics such as optimisation of the future direction for tax and business policy formulation, as well as what tax issues should businesses and individuals/employees be aware of under the changed way of conducting business, the mode of operation and the working patterns.
The Institute will also invite member organisations of the Asia Oceania Tax Consultants’ Association (AOTCA) and tax professionals from Mainland China and Macau to attend the Conference and exchange views on different tax issues.
